Job Title: AccountantLocation: Parramatta, NSW
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting in the development and refinement of budgeting frameworks and accounting policies tailored to client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Preparing comprehensive financial reports and statements for management, boards, investors, and statutory bodies.
- Conducting thorough financial investigations, audits, and due diligence to advise clients on business acquisitions, mergers, capital raising, insolvency concerns, and fraud detection.
- Analysing operational costs, revenue streams, and financial performance to provide actionable insights and strategic guidance.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reports, meeting all statutory obligations and reporting standards.
- Advising clients on optimal business structures and operational models from a financial and tax perspective.
- Preparing and lodging business and personal tax returns in compliance with Australian tax legislation.
- Managing client cash flow and funds, ensuring liquidity and profitability targets are met.
- Implementing and maintaining cloud-based and traditional accounting systems (e.g., Xero, MYOB), and advising system selection for clients across industries.
- Developing and monitoring internal control systems for clients to ensure accountability, transparency, and risk minimisation.
- Conducting financial appraisals for capital investment proposals and preparing cash flow forecasts.
- Providing guidance on superannuation compliance and administration.
- Collaborating with internal mortgage broking, insurance, and migration teams to offer integrated business solutions to clients.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of taxation laws, ATO regulations, and accounting standards, ensuring clients are informed and compliant.
Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 + Superannuation

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in a relevant accounting role
