Accountant

Position Summary

The Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of ESR A&NZ. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and providing insights related to financial performance. The Accountant will work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and compliance.

Key Accountabilities - including but not limited to:

• Manage the full accounting cycle – from accounts payable to accounts receivable
• Prepare monthly financial statements and various reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist in the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors
• Support tax compliance activities and financial forecasting
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures

• Internal: Collaborate with finance, operations, and management teams
• External: Work with auditors, regulatory bodies, and tax agencies
• Contribute to team efforts and engage in ongoing professional development

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Experience with accounting software (ERP systems preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
