Accountant - Newly Created Role | Mascot
Are you an experienced Accountant ready to step into a dynamic, newly created role within a growing organisation? This is your opportunity to join a leading innovator in the technology, known for high-quality, customised design and manufacturing solutions.
Following a period of exceptional growth the company is expanding its finance function and seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in Mascot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries
- General ledger reporting and reconciliations across Australia, Singapore, and India
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure account accuracy
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Ensure compliance with relevant local and international financial regulations
- Implement and manage project accounting processes across multiple initiatives
- Prepare and lodge BAS, GST, and FBT returns
- Perform tax ledger reconciliations and assist with audit processes
What You'll Bring:
- CPA or CA qualified (or currently studying toward qualification)
- Experience in building/construction or manufacturing industries
- Strong ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A hands-on, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
