Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in our head office based on Alexandria NSW 2015.
As the Company Accountant at Super Agent Agency, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity, compliance, and strategic financial management of the organization. This position requires expertise in financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and process improvement to support the agency's growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal use and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Reviewing budget as per company’s policies and financial planning.
- Conduct cash flow analysis and develop financial forecasts to aid in business decision-making.
- Recommending about cost management and financial sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including BAS, GST, PAYG, and superannuation obligations.
- Prepare and lodge financial and tax reports with regulatory authorities.
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations, advising management on compliance requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal control systems to safeguard the financial assets of the agency.
- Identify opportunities for financial process improvements and implement automation where possible.
- Advise on and oversee the selection and application of accounting systems and financial software.
- Provide management with insights on financial performance, risk assessment, and growth opportunities.
- Support business decisions through financial analysis and scenario planning.
- Liaise with financial institutions, brokers, and auditors to ensure optimal financial management.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
- Previous experience required in a similar role.
- CPA or CA qualification preferred.
- Knowledge in financial management, reporting, and compliance within a business setting.
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation, financial regulations, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.

- Schedule: From Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
