• Deliver accurate and timely monthly Financial and Operational Reporting (General Ledgers; P&Ls; Balance sheets) for the assigned Companies and Business Areas / Divisions
• Responsible for Internal Recharges and Intercompany Reconciliations
• Assist Operations and business divisions with day-to-day queries, reporting and system requirements and ensuring best practice is followed
• Understand key drivers of the business and assist with analysing trends and comparing actual results to budget and forecast.
• Work with the Senior Financial Accountant and other Finance team members to deliver work tasks, project and process improvements as required
• Provide information to assist with daily Cash Control and Cash Flow Management
• Provide information and enable the preparation, reconciliation and filing of indirect tax returns including GST and FBT
• Support the business to manage annual external audit

• Degree in Accounting with CA/CPA qualification
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in a large business / organisation
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, standards and processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups)
• Excellent attention to detail and an eye for process improvement
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Peoplesoft (desirable) or similar ERP accounting systems
