Job Description- Establish & manage contract & tender activity in public & private hospitals and identify opportunities to assist in the delivery of product objectives to drive & grow the hospital business.
- Support the achievement of Commercial Division Goals by providing commercial clinical and training support.
- Achieve or exceed the sales targets for existing and new launch product/s, as designated by the Company by developing and executing sales and marketing strategies and conducting sales calls to key Health Care Professional groups. i.e. Tender Groups, Directors of Pharmacy, Procurement Leads, and associated key decision makers primarily within Critical Care, Oncology, Pediatrics and Gynecology.
- Effectively communicate appropriate therapeutic, disease state and product information to customers and healthcare professionals. Detail and promote the Company's products and ensure a high level of knowledge is maintained.
- Initiate, develop and maintain relationships with key customers and Health Care Professionals to ensure that the use of the company's products is well supported.
- Document any relevant intelligence, interactions or insights via the relevant internal platform via the company's CRM tool in a timely manner.
- Actively monitor market trends through regular engagement with customers and Health Care Professionals and attending scientific meetings and seminars.
- Identify and support potential business development opportunities through strong market intelligence via communication with key customer groups.
- Ensuring activities and interactions comply with Medicines Australia Code of Conduct as well as all company policies.
The Successful Applicant
Strong commercial acumen, able to identify customer trends and quickly work towards action plans in a very dynamic landscape
Working knowledge of and familiarity with the hospital pharmacy and procurement environment
Key Account Management experience
Prior experience or training in healthcare professional engagement
Demonstration of entrepreneurial spirit
High standard of ethics and values
