Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the Housekeeping Manager will ensure effective management, administration and operation of the housekeeping department. This position is full-time, based in Mascot, NSW.

• Ensure high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the accommodation units and public areas.
• Recruit, manage, and train housekeeping staff.
• Allocation of duties to the housekeeping staff members on a daily basis.
• Attend to guests’ housekeeping enquiries, requests and complaints.
• Effective management of housekeeping supplies (laundry, guest supplies, etc.)

• Proven experience in housekeeping management in a hotel or serviced apartments with 150 rooms or more.
• Experience in a hospitality environment in a managerial capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a large team.
• Strong understanding to meet rostering, productivity and budgeting requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High work standards with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Understanding of the Work Health and Safety requirements and compliance.
• Flexibility and availability to work early or evening shifts across 7 days of the week including public holidays, where necessary.
