The Role
We recently acquired AusChem – a specialist in solvent distribution and speciality chemical solutions in Wetherill Park and are looking to grow our production team. Tyre shine, disinfectants, nail polish remover and many types of paints and coatings are just a few of the consumer goods our raw chemicals help make.
The Position- Full time permanent position
- Day shift 6am – 2:06pm
- Despatching goods for customer orders
- Accepting deliveries, receipting, unpacking, sorting & checking goods received for quality, quantity, type or size, securing proof of deliveries.
- Inventory, completing store reports, and recording stock movements
- Operating forklifts to move containers, crates, cartons, IBC’s, and palletised goods.
- Exceptional verbal and written skills, excellent time management
- Adhoc housekeeping duties
- Hold a current Australian Forklift Licence (LF)
- Several years of experience in a similar position
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating both counterbalance and high reach forklifts
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting (25kg)
- Ability to work in a team and by yourself
- Preferably experienced working with Dangerous goods – liquid chemicals
- 2x contactable references
- Salary package inclusive 17.5% leave loading
