About The Role:
The Senior Systems and Cloud Engineer is a member of the infrastructure team providing expert (Level 3) support for the institute's IT Systems and Infrastructure, contributing to strategy road map, proactively driving improvements and technology assessments. This includes:
Standardising, Improving and Maintaining the Infra environment i.e. on prem and cloud footprintsDevelops and plans implementations and changes to support all business systems and applications.
Monitoring all IT Infrastructure resources for availability and performance and responds to events
Develops and maintain DR plan, conduct regular DR drills as per institutes requirements.
Will be responsible for following technical stack
All of institutes servers Virtual/Physical (ie Linux and Windows)
M365 services(Entra ID, emails, defender)
Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File servers
Storage Management
Backup systems
Vmware and VDI

Bachelor's Degree in IT or similar field (essential)Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (Highly Desirable)
VMware Certified Professional (Highly Desirable)Azure Administration certification (Highly Desirable)
Azure/AWS architecture certification (Highly Desirable)
