Accounting Centre Team Leader
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will support account receivables and/or credit activities in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. You will be responsible managing and analyzing accounts receivable data and showcase your expertise by ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with the relevant accounting standards.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Finance and Accounting Operations Team of ABB Australia.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Participating in internal initiatives and projects to continuously improve financial accounting and reporting processes within the Accounts Receivables team.
- Performing quality checks on financial reporting data, including fluctuations monitoring.
- Complying with and helping achieve Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance in Accounts Receivable team for applicable templates and participating in internal control testing and preparing relevant documentation.
- Executing accounting analyses and maintaining relevant transaction documentation within area of responsibility, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitoring incoming payments, reconcile accounts and follows up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections as well as the recording of financial transactions and generation of regular reports on accounts receivable activities.
- Around 5 years of experience in a relevant role
- Excellent understanding of Accounts Receivables processes and procedures
- Ability to demonstrate your experience and understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to details
- A team player with good communications and collaborative skills
- You posses work rights in Australia
