About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data & Insights Analyst to join our team reporting to the Team Lead- Data & Insights to support Konica Minolta’s growth strategy. You will focus on interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques and developing and implementing strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

This role is a part time, 3 days per week role.

Requirements
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Who are we looking for?
  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Ability to analyse large datasets and write comprehensive reports.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Experience using SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP software products (highly desired).
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

As per Konica Minolta compliance procedures, the successful candidate will be required to undertake background checks.
