Position: System Support Technician

Position Overview:

Tangerpay is seeking a proactive System Support Technician to join our technical team. This role is ideal for a problem-solver passionate about optimizing software, hardware, and network systems while delivering exceptional support to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues by evaluating software/hardware requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting support for clients and staff, addressing queries related to POS systems, payment gateways, and e-commerce integrations.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure.
  • Customize and adapt software solutions to enhance user experience and meet evolving business demands.
  • Optimize system performance by monitoring applications and equipment, implementing efficiency improvements.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure computer networks, including firewall configurations and data integrity protocols.
  • Develop and update company/client websites, ensuring functionality, responsiveness, and security.
  • Repair and replace peripheral devices (e.g., POS terminals, printers, modems) to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new technologies and streamline workflows.
  • Document technical processes and create user guides to improve knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, recommending innovative tools to enhance service delivery.
  • Guide end-users on new software/hardware implementations.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in system support, network administration, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware/software, configuring networks, and managing web platforms.
Position Type: Full-Time (38 hours/week)

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation
