IT Support Technician

Eaton Services Group is looking for an IT Support Technician for their Loganholme team.

• IT support to the administration team
• Provide first-line support for office staff with hardware and software issues (computers, printers, mobile devices)
• Troubleshoot and support mobile devices used by cleaning crews for scheduling, reporting, and communication
• Resolve issues related to productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and industry-specific tools (gocanvas)
• Assist non-technical staff with everyday IT tasks such as email configuration, password resets, and printer setup
• Provide basic IT training for office and field employees on using software, mobile apps, and cloud service
• Provide remote assistance to field staff via phone or remote desktop tools for issues related to mobile apps or connectivity
• Assisting with the development of the company app
• Ensure the secure storage and handling of sensitive customer data and company information
• Implement and monitor basic cyber security measures (antivirus, firewalls, and secure passwords
• Maintain records of IT issues and resolutions using ticketing systems
• Document IT processes, including troubleshooting steps, software configurations, and user guides
• Work with the Network Support team to address issues related to network connectivity and server access
• Implement network security protocols to protect sensitive customer data and company information
• Manage network-related backups, ensuring data integrity and quick recovery in case of outages or failures
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware purchases, software subscriptions, and warranty claims

• Should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support
• Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline
• Previous experience in assisting with office hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices)
• Knowledge of office productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
• Experience with remote desktop tools to support off-site employees
• Knowledge of cloud storage and data management
• Familiarity with scheduling and logistics software commonly used in service industries
• Excellent communication, documentation, multi-tasking and collaboration skills
