About our role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Operations Manager to join our team on a 12 month contract, covering a period of maternity leave. This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, based in our office in Mentone. The purpose of this role is to develop & embed the role of Marketing Operations across the APAC region to ensure our teams are informed, connected, and engaged; operating as a key Change Champion for the business and enabling the Commercial teams to operate seamlessly and efficiently with core processes, systems and governance.
What you will do- Drive continuous improvement and simplify Marketing operations across the APAC region, ensuring alignment and engagement with key stakeholders in IT, Marketing, Sales, and Finance
- Champion change initiatives to enhance cross-functional collaboration and efficiency, working with North American teams to optimize processes, systems, and governance for the Commercial Teams
- Represent APAC Commercial on global and local project teams, ensuring regional interests are prioritized and key stakeholders are engaged and updated
- Work with external partners to develop industry-leading materials and best practices, ensuring alignment with company standards
- Centralize and drive awareness of key activities (e.g., Marketing campaigns, NPI launches, pricing, and product news) to improve engagement and communication across teams
- Develop and govern processes for managing product information, ensure product maintenance on customer portals, and launch the Highspot tool in Australia to streamline marketing content management
- Collaborate with Asia and APAC market teams to assess marketing operations and communications needs, identifying opportunities to connect the region and enhance local efforts
- Work with teams to establish best practices, determining what can be centralized and what should remain localized for maximum impact
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields
- Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and ensure clear distribution of key activities and updates
- Proven leadership and initiative, capable of making autonomous decisions and driving cross-functional alignment
- Extensive project management experience, managing multiple initiatives, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
- Experience in marketing operations with a focus on campaigns, product launches, and process optimization
- Cross-regional experience, particularly in APAC, with the ability to adapt global strategies to local market needs
- Ability to drive change management and implement new tools, processes, and improvements across teams
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to measure performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Proficiency in marketing technology; Highspot, Salesforce
