An opportunity has emerged for a Chef to join Rush Roasting Pty Ltd located in 64 Bowral St, Bowral NSW 2576 on a full-time basis for 38 hours a week.

Rush Roasting Pty Ltd is a vibrant and welcoming café/restaurant located in the heart of Bowral, NSW. We pride ourselves on serving high-quality dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team.

As our Chef, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and preparing meals in accordance with our restaurant standards. You will bring creativity, leadership, and a passion for food, ensuring a memorable dining experience for every customer.

• Plan and organise the preparation and cooking of food in accordance with menus.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standards.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen hygiene.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels and ensure effective storage of food supplies.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Discuss food preparation issues with managers, dietitians, and other staff members.
• Innovate and develop new menu items and specials to meet customer expectations.
• Monitor food costs and assist with managing kitchen budgets.

• At least a relevant diploma (e.g. cookery, hospitality, etc.)
• At least 1 year recent and relevant full-time work experience

• A competitive salary of $76,515 plus 12% superannuation.
