The Opportunity
We are embarking on a Finance Systems Transformation journey and are looking for a motivated Finance Manager to lead and deliver the transformation of the Group’s Record to Report (“R2R”) business and finance processes. This will include the detailed design, standardisation and implementation of best practice processes and controls, leveraging the S/4 upgrade and its capabilities.
The Program will enhance and uplift our systems to be fit-for-purpose for the wide range of businesses we operate, and future-focussed in terms of delivering insights and value for the broader Woolworths Group
What you’ll do:
- Optimise the end to end business processes across R2R to best practice, leveraging the S/4 upgrade and the capabilities it brings;
- Embed the e2e processes with strong governance and controls that address key audit findings and manage risks within appetite;
- Document the end to end processes and implement a knowledge management operating model with the relevant process owners;
- Contribute to the identification, scoping, design and delivery of systems solutions directly related to these processes (as required); and
- Contribute to the implementation of a system of continuous controls monitoring
What you’ll bring:
We are looking for a self motivated Finance Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience across a variety of Finance role including:
- Experience in designing business and finance processes (P2P, A2R, R2R and O2C experience would be highly regarded)
- Experience in managing a large and complex finance systems and process implementation program (accounting process design and implementation highly regarded)
- Experience in facilitating a variety of people; experience in storytelling and presenting to senior business stakeholders
- Experience working with SAP Finance Systems will be highly advantageous
