This is a growth-focused role within Civica Education Solutions, with a strong emphasis on Daymap and representing the education business vertical as directed. The role requires a deep understanding of customers' critical business priorities, sector challenges, and requirements.The focus is on driving value for customers while maximizing Civica’s competitive advantage, revenue, and margins.
You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities that drive significant revenue growth. Building strong professional relationships with prospective customers, you will establish credibility with key stakeholders and leverage internal resources, including executive sponsors, to strengthen Civica’s position.
A strong understanding of the education sector, its business strategies, and challenges is essential. As a trusted advisor, you will shape and position deals early in the sales cycle, developing and implementing strategic business plans to support long-term success.You will manage and orchestrate the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are actively nurtured and progressed to closure, ultimately contributing to profitable revenue growth.
Requirements
What you'll do to be successful in the role- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship-building abilities at all levels within schools.
- Proven experience in selling complex software solutions.
- Results-driven, with a track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs, including pipeline metrics, opportunity coverage, wallet share, and acquisition plans.
- Ability to identify and lead a virtual bid team to coordinate response proposals efficiently.
- Proficient in managing a sales pipeline, forecasts, and opportunities within Salesforce.
- Skilled in generating sales plans and driving effective results.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in selling to the education sector.
- Demonstrated success in customer relationship management and sales.
