The client has been disrupting the industry since 2022 with a focus on market-leading technology, competitive pricing on novated leases & a customer-first approach.Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced B2B Business Development Manager based in Melbourne to join their growing Client Relationships Team. This role is fully remote.
Your role as a BDM will be to continue growing their already rapidly expanding client portfolio and help drive their mass customer acquisition. You will be focused on prospecting and winning new clients, primarily focusing on employers with a workforce greater than 500 employees.
You will be responsible for:- Exceeding future clients' expectations with amazing service and knowledge about novated leasing.
- Pitching & educating potential clients on their product, their technology, and the exemplary service their team provide.
- Hunting for opportunities by phone and email, leveraging existing relationships, using their CRMs & other prospecting tools (e.g. LinkedIn).
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure successful signup and smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Managing and handling new company enquiries, as well as project managing tenders they are invited to partake.
- Attending industry events and promoting the client and its products.
- Working closely with the National Relationship Manager, sales teams and client support teams.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role ideally within the novated industry
- Understanding of novated leasing from both an employee and employer level
- Motivated self-starter who can establish a strategic course of action
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused - always looking at ways to surprise and delight customers
- Ability to liaise with business owners, partners and C-Suite executives
- Excellent communication skills including an ability to present confidently in a professional setting
