About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager FP&A Penfolds, this is a pivotal role that will provide financial decision-making support to the Penfolds global marketing team including actuals vs budget marketing spend tracking, campaign, and A&P effectiveness.Partnering Global CMO and the wider Global Marketing team, you will help to develop marketing strategies and plans that deliver step-change global growth in the Penfolds division across multiple regions.
- Ownership of the 5 Year Plan and Budget for Marketing / A&P spend including regional allocation and split between Consumer Marketing, Trade Marketing and Trade Sell.
- Ongoing monitoring of actuals vs budget, identifying risks and opportunities as appropriate for incorporation into the Integrated Business Planning process.
- Leading the Month End close process for Global Marketing A&P, including accruals and other adjustments as required to ensure accurate reporting of numbers.
- Collate pre and post campaign balanced scorecards with marketing inputs from regional teams
- Lead campaign review in conjunction with CMO to ensure that the campaign spend is challenged and insights inform future marketing campaigns.
About you
We are searching for a commercially astute finance professional, ideally with a knowledge of consumer and trade marketing. Our perfect candidate will have supported marketing teams previously and will understand the expectations of dealing with creative marketing stakeholders.A capable influencer, you know how to guide business stakeholders through your insight, analysis, and commercial acumen.
- CA/CPA qualification
- Strong preference for commercial finance experience within FMCG
- Comfortable delivering in a hands-on working environment
- Superb analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in influencing at executive levels and strong stakeholder management skills
