Salary: $75,000 per annum + superannuation

The main responsibilities include planning and organising the preparation of menus, overseeing the kitchen staff, and ensuring that the food meets high-quality standards.

• Maintain good relationship with customers and suppliers (resolving issues with suppliers if any arises)
• Strictly follow and adhere to the budget of the restaurant or hotel, by ensuring that supplies and/or orders are in line with the budget and supervising food and labor cost(s)
• Make sure that kitchen safety measures are met and that sanitation practices are carried out.
• Create new methods and recipes in preparation of meals.
• Keeping up with industry trends and creating new recipes.
• Maintain work schedule for kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of activities in the kitchen and the restaurant or hotel at large.
• Make sure the meal is prepared and served to customers in a timely manner.

• Be qualified in hospitality with AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) or have minimum three years’ experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
• Ideally at least 3 years full-time experience as a Chef.
