Salary: $70,000- $73,000 per annum + superannuation

Phat Boy Brisbane, a premier dining destination in Brisbane CBD known for its modern take on authentic Thai cuisine, is seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.

• Work alongside the Head Chef to plan and design menus while estimating food and labour costs.
• Order and manage food supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
• Monitor the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation.
• Collaborate with Managers, and kitchen/waiting staff to address food preparation matters.
• Demonstrate advanced cooking techniques and provide guidance on culinary procedures.
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes that align with the restaurant’s standards.
• Maintain and enforce hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen.
• Train, mentor, and guide kitchen staff as needed.
• Preserve and store foods following industry standards.

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field (ANZSCO Skill Level 2).
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role may substitute for formal qualifications.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-quality dining environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
