About the Role
Supporting the People & Culture - Operations team, this is a crucial role to ensure the smooth and compliant onboarding of new starters to the business. You will act as the main liaison between Talent, P&C and hiring managers to ensure all background checks, system accesses and onboarding requirements are in order prior to commencement dates.This is a fast paced, high-volume environment, so efficiency, high attention to detail and confidence is key.
This is a temporary role commencing on Monday, 12^th May for 3 months. Working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, 4 days in office and 1 from home per week. This assignment is covering an incumbent employee's annual leave, so a full in-depth handover will be provided prior.
Duties- Act as the initial face and point of contact for new starts, ensuring they receive a seamless employee experience
- Manually entering all new starter information into the system
- Monitor the status of all initiated background checks, chasing further information if required
- Ensure that Talent, P&C, and hiring managers are continuously updated on the status of required checks, contract formulation and anticipated start date
- Utilising systems including: Docusign, fit2work, Enboarder and MS Excel
Skills & Experience
To be a successful candidate you must have:
- Previous experience performing similar HR, Recruitment or Compliance Coordinator duties - essential
- Previous experience in a highly regulated environment (options could be a super fund, corporate, professional or financial services organisation) where high attention to detail and diligence is key
- Be confident speaking with senior stakeholders in the business
- Utilised Docusign and/or Enboarder - desirable
