SLIQ Hairdresser is a well-established and thriving salon located in the heart of Blacktown, in Sydney’s western suburbs. As our client base continues to grow, we are now seeking a full-time Senior Hairdresser to join our talented team.
About the Role:We are looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate professional who can confidently provide a wide range of hair services. You’ll be working in a supportive and energetic environment, helping clients look and feel their best.
Key Responsibilities:- Offer expert advice on haircare, beauty products, and hairstyles
- Shampoo, condition, and treat scalp and hair
- Apply chemical treatments including colouring, straightening, perming, keratin, nanoplasty, and other advanced hair treatments
- Skillfully cut and style hair using scissors, clippers, and razors
- Style dreadlocks, braids, and apply hair extensions
- Shave and trim beards and moustaches
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tools and work areas
- Manage client bookings and handle payments
- Cut, colour, and style wigs and hairpieces with precision
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of chemical treatments, colouring techniques, and haircare equipment
- Experience working with various hair types
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and friendly, client-focused attitude
- Willingness to work full-time, with flexibility for overtime as required
