THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
System Administrator focusing on the administration, maintenance & support of the company's ICT infrastructure to ensure performance, security, and reliability.
Working closely with an interstate IT team, you'll take a lead role in the Sydney office mentoring a junior while engaging with senior stakeholders.
Mainly BAU work + involvement in some projects.
This is a full time in-office role.
Responsibilities include:
- Microsoft 365 - Oversee the management, maintenance, and support of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Defender.
- Azure Cloud Services - manage, support, and administer Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, and networking, while applying best practices for cloud security.
- Cybersecurity: work with the Security Engineer and Compliance Department to implement cybersecurity policies and procedures, assist with security assessments and audits, and to address vulnerabilities with corrective actions.
- Network Infrastructure - support network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity.
- Teams Calling and Genesys Cloud Contact Centre: management & support
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): support & troubleshooting for CRM-related issues.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: offer expert-level technical support for complex ICT issues.
- Compliance and Standards: assist to ensure ICT activities comply with PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 requirements.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior ICT staff, fostering a culture of growth and continuous learning.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND / KNOWLEDGE
Suitable for a System Administrator with M365/Azure skills who's come from an IT Helpdesk background yet is still expanding their knowledge/experience.
Strengths in communication and engaging with people are essential.
Ideal for someone social and energetic who thrives when autonomously and proactively taking the initiative to get things done.
The following is required:
- Proven System Admin experience with a prior background in IT Helpdesk Support.
- Competent M365 admin & support experience.
- Azure & Intune experience is highly beneficial.
- Competent network knowledge and cybersecurity.
- Comfortable focusing on mainly BAU support in the short to mid-term.
- Excellent communication skills able to deliver complex IT concepts into easy-to-understand language (and express IT in business terms).
- Proven background being an advocate and voice for IT to senior stakeholders.
- Display logical technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated to learn, grow, and expand your capacity over time.
- Team player a willingness to learn + share knowledge and collaborate with others.
- Able to work full time in the office.

- $120,000 (plus super)
