Assistant Accountant / Reconciliations Officer

Robert Half is currently working with a well-established organisation based in Victoria Park, seeking the support of a Reconciliations Officer to assist with a short-term project.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong reconciliation skills to join a collaborative and supportive team environment for an initial 2 to 3-month period.

The Role

Working closely with the finance team, your duties will include:

• Performing high-volume bank and account reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting month-end close activities
• Assisting with data clean-up and process improvements
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather and verify financial information

Your Profile:

We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, ideally with:

• Prior experience in reconciliation-heavy roles
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
• A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a team
