Job Description

The Senior Group Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Lead the financial reports & statutory account preparation process, including disclosures and consolidations
• Tax: BAS, FBT
• Be the point of contact for the auditors.
• Lead the annual tax accounting and compliance process
• Board reporting
• Preparation of accounting position papers
• Lead the month end accounting process
• Accounting and tax consolidation work papers
• Income tax calculations and tax accounting journals
• Inter-company reconciliations
• Accounting for investments, derivatives and debt facilities
• Process improvement initiatives
• Other ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by the Financial Controller and CFO
• Support and partner with FP&A team

• CA/CPA Qualified
• Big-4 or mid-tier audit background preferred
• 3 + Years Experience in industry in a similar role
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills preferred
• Strong technical accounting skills
