The Company

Our client is an established financial institution responsible for the management of staff compensation, investments, insurance, training as well as essential health and wellbeing services. They are seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their Finance and Investment team.
You will be surrounded by an experienced team in a supportive environment where you will learn from the best, further develop your skills, have a hybrid working arrangement and gain invaluable industry experience. This role reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for processing accurate and efficient finance and accounting data for the business.

This role is a genuine 3 month temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate, ideally the business would like this candidate to start within 1 week.

The Role

The main duties of the Corporate Accountant role will include but not limited to:

  • Prepare monthly management and board reports
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Property accounting, fixed asset register and credit card expense management
  • Assist with statutory reporting and auditor requests
  • Accounts receivable invoicing and co-ordination of payments
  • BAS preparation and lodgement, payroll tax returns
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliation
  • Assist with investment journals and portfolio reporting
  • Perform other duties as requested by CFO and Finance manager.

Your Profile

Relevant tertiary qualification and a CA/CPA qualification with a minimum of 5 years' accounting experience with investment, taxation and stakeholder management is required. If you are result driven, analytical, have a positive work attitude, outstanding verbal/written communication and reconciliation skills with high level of attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.
