About Us

WHEREFIT is one of Australia’s fastest-growing, HR SaaS platforms that is revolutionising fitness and wellbeing employee benefits. Our mission is to help working Australians get fit, active, and healthy, and we prioritise employee wellbeing above all else.

Since launching in 2017, WHEREFIT has quickly grown to become a trusted wellbeing partner at over 300 of Australia’s leading employers, including Woolworths, NAB, Australia Post, Allianz, AMEX, EY, Aldi, Lendlease, and more.

Our platform helps businesses provide their employees with exclusive corporate benefits at over 1,500 leading fitness and wellbeing brands, including Fitness First, Goodlife, HelloFresh, Anytime Fitness, Adidas, F45, The ICONIC Sport, Adore Beauty, Under Armour, Elite Supplements and more.

We believe that a healthy and active lifestyle should be accessible to all, and we are committed to making this a reality for all working Australians.

About the Internship

A WHEREFIT placement is different to your typical internship. This is an on-site placement where you will work directly with the co-founders of WHEREFIT and the wider team.

We give you significant responsibility from Day 1 so we prefer to call you an Associate rather than an intern. You’ll do real work to help achieve our mission and goals, rather than simply supporting or shadowing our team.

You will be trusted to secure and manage fitness/wellbeing partners, and you will learn how to pitch to and convince external stakeholders to be a part of the WHEREFIT ecosystem - an important learning experience.

You will be involved in onboarding and monitoring new partners on our platform while also researching new verticals for WHEREFIT to explore.

You will learn how to use leading software tools including ActiveCampaign (CRM), Airtable (database), Slack (comms), Asana (task management), Intercom (customer engagement), Google Suite (productivity), Miro (whiteboarding), Notion (wiki) and much more.

You will be exposed to a dynamic, fast-growing technology startup located in Fishburners, one of Australia’s leading startup coworking spaces in the Sydney Startup Hub. This means you will have direct exposure to 270+ high quality startups of various maturities and industries.

You will also have free member access to workshops and numerous learning, networking and startup community events within Fishburners and the hub. Examples of recent speakers have included the former Spotify CTO, Koala’s co-founder as well as key leads and managers from Google, Atlassian and Canva.

You will be part of an exciting startup culture, working alongside talented and driven individuals, and contributing to the success of a company that is helping businesses do better for their employees.

You will have access to all of our fitness and wellbeing perks too!
