Our client, Key Industries Pty Ltd, is a market leader in the manufacturing of coffins, caskets, and acoustic panels. Operating from a state-of-the-art 5,500 square meter facility in Wetherill Park, Sydney, Key Industries prides itself on delivering exceptional project outcomes through innovation, a skilled workforce, and long-term client partnerships.
As part of the company’s continued growth, they are now seeking a Project Administrator to join their dynamic team and support the coordination, planning, and execution of engineering and manufacturing projects. The role will involve working closely with the Director, Sales, Production, and Quality teams to ensure timely project delivery and documentation.
Main responsibilities include:- Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information across multiple departments
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and correspondence
- Track project progress and escalate any issues or risks to ensure project milestones are met
- Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenditures, and report variances to management
- Manage project documentation, records, and version control systems
- Organise and schedule project meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items
- Support tender and proposal preparation processes
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least one year relevant experience in project administration, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management tools
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with compliance and quality assurance processes will be advantageous
