You will develop your knowledge and subsequently enhance your career as you will take on direct responsibility for your own portfolio. This is a newly created position, so you genuinely have the chance to create something new and in your own image.
You'll work within a team of 10 and whilst you will have the full support of your colleagues, you will also enjoy a level of autonomy and be trusted to deliver.
The business is always open to innovation so you will have the opportunity to be involved in continuous improvement as you and your team seek out better ways to do things.
What You'll Do:
This is a hands-on position where you will cover several duties:
- Month end processes; journals, reconciliations, P&L, analysis and reporting on business performance.
- Partner with Operational teams to present and explain financial results.
- Assisting with monthly Board reporting.
- Provide detailed analysis on your portfolio with commentary.
- Assit with annual audits
- Take ownership for all compliance related enquiries for your portfolio.
- Have a strong input to continuous improvement
- Ad hoc duties as required with the wider Finance team
Who You Are:
This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified, or close to completion, Accountant who has great commercial experience and a desire to be part of something big.
You'll be hands-on and take ownership, but you'll also be someone who can see the bigger picture and embrace improvements.
You will have strong experience of month-end and be into the detail; you'll pride yourself on the level of accuracy and detail when presenting your reporting.- Fully qualified, or close to completion, Accountant
- Strong EOM experience
- Good level of Excel
- An eye for detail and improvement
- Be enthusiastic about working within a growing ASX Listed business
