Senior Financial Accountant

You will partner with the GM of Finance & Accounting, work closely with the Finance Director, and have regular engagement with the CFO; all three are committed to helping you be the best that you can be.

You'll also manage a Financial Accountant who is early in their career, so you'll build on your leadership and mentorship skills as you develop them.

It is a highly visible role that will give you a panoramic view of how a successful business operates, and you'll engage with people across the organization, and not just in finance.

They also understand the need for work/life balance and every Friday is WFH giving you a great start to the weekend.

What You'll Do:

This is a hands-on position where you will be a crucial part of the Finance team, and you'll lead from the front. You will partner with the leaders to review processes and procedures and then instigate improvements.

You can expect to be involved in the following duties:

• Month-end & Year-end processes
• Ensuring the integrity of the GL
• Journals and reconciliations
• Statutory financial accounts in accordance with AASB
• Audit liaison
• BAS, GST & FBT
• Treasury management
• Oversight of AP
• Forecasting
• Team management

Who You Are:

You are a fully qualified accountant who is also a natural business partner, someone highly capable of building relationships across the business with a view to continuous improvement. You'll be a strong technical Financial Accountant and have ideally managed previously (can be 1 - 2 people).

• Fully qualified accountant
• Strong Financial Accounting experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong with Excel
• Large ERP system experience is a nice to have
• A stable career history

Interview process:

First interviews will be Friday 4^th October; followed by psychometric testing; then second and final stage on the 9^th October.
