Event Coordinator

Eventscape is a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) based in Balmain, NSW. With 20 years’ experience our company specialises in managing international and national Conferences, Incentives, Product Launches, Roadshows, Gala Dinners & Travel.
We are currently seeking an Event Co-Ordinator to join and support our busy and vibrant team on a short-term contract basis.
Your Role:

To support the Event Managers and Director in the operation of all areas of event and conference management, including but not limited to:

  • Support the Event Managers in all aspects of event planning.
  • Data base management and data entry.
  • Management of delegate enquiries.
  • Build online registration sites and Apps with Events Air
  • Liaising with delegates, event participants and suppliers.
  • Researching potential venues and destinations and checking availability.
  • Assisting with building proposals and pitch documents.
  • Assisting our Travel Manager with hotel and airline reservations for group travel.
  • Answering of phones & general administration office duties and support.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, well organised with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance several tasks and work towards deadlines.
  • Strong administrative skills including record keeping and note taking.
  • Ability to multi-task with a demonstrated record of working on multiple projects at one time.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications.
  • Events Air experience preferred.
  • Tertiary or Events Industry qualifications required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience within the MICE industry is essential.

  • Understanding that every day presents new challenges and the ability to embrace those challenges with a smile.

Location: Balmain
Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm (with flexibility)
