Location: TG010/200 Boat Harbour Drive, Pialba, QLD 4655Salary: $75,000 plus 11.5%superannuation
Our client, PSR Brothers Pty Ltd ATF PSR Brothers Unit Trust operating a Café under the brand Café 63 in Pialba, QLD is looking to fill a full time position for an experienced Cafe Manager. Café 63 are a highly regarded venue for its Australian food and welcoming hospitality in a vibrant atmosphere.
Your challenge will be to uphold guest expectations, employee requirements and profitability. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial brand with strong potential to grow within the business.Key objectives of the role include strategic planning, operational management, managing the financial aspects of the café, quality control, staff management, compliance and safety and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for all daily operations of the café inclusive of financial reporting, compliance, staff training, maintaining and creating exceptional customer relationships and being a true professional and face of the business. You will be reporting directly to the director.You will need proven experience in the hospitality industry in a similar role.
In this role your main responsibilities include:- Coordinate the entire café operation
- Hiring and scheduling staff
- Menu planning and maintaining inventory
- Coordinate with vendors, monitor budgets, and work to improve profit margins
- Maintain effective management procedures to continue appropriate high levels of customer service
- Building strong customer relationships to continue growth
- Follow management procedures to effectively maintain cost budget percentage
- Maximising profitability whilst maintaining exceptional standards of quality and service
- Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
- Optimise the potential and performance of the team to consistently deliver the expected results and ensure an exceptional dining experience is delivered
- Ensure facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
- Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions.
The successful candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, be career focused and have strong leadership qualities.
Other key skills and experience will include:- Relevant qualification at the level of a Diploma or higher AND at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
- Proficient in English with good communication skills and team management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service management.
- Sound knowledge and business and administrative practices
- Ability to lead and train team
- Driven to achieve business goals in an efficient and effective manner
You must be a quick learner who is also reliable, creative, organized, hard-working and well-mannered. Our client is looking for a hands-on manager that will lead from the front.
