Role: Café Manager – Relish Café, Paradise Point, QLD

• Menu and Event Planning: Collaborate with our chefs to design innovative and seasonally inspired menus. Organise and manage special events and functions, ensuring a memorable experience for our patrons.
• Financial and Stock Management: Oversee the purchasing of goods while adhering to our budgetary constraints. Manage pricing strategies to maintain profitability. Keep accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions to ensure efficient operations.
• Compliance and Facility Maintenance: Ensure our dining and kitchen areas comply with all health regulations and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality. Uphold an aesthetic that matches our welcoming atmosphere.
• Customer Engagement and Staff Management: Engage with customers to gather feedback on their dining experience, aiming to continuously improve our service. Lead, train, and supervise our dedicated team of waitstaff and kitchen personnel to uphold our service standards.
• Operational Tasks: Handle reservations, warmly greet guests, and assist in order processing when necessary to provide a hands-on leadership presence.

• Develop marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and promote special events.
• Implement innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.
• Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages personal growth and professional development.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually, plus superannuation, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

• Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality industry.
• A qualification at the level of AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field is required.
