ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Lead Designer to join our Sydney-based APAC team. In this role, you’ll drive the design vision and execution for our enterprise SaaS platform and play a key part in shaping intuitive and engaging solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll conceptualize, create, and iterate on designs that solve user challenges while aligning with business goals.
We’re looking for someone who is a creative problem-solver with a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences. You balance design aesthetics with functionality and have strong technical and collaborative skills.
Responsibilities- Own the UX vision and end-to-end design process for complex enterprise product
- Conduct user research and discovery to understand customer needs and pain points
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design strategies with business objectives and user needs
- Test and refine designs through user feedback and usability testing
- Maintain and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and scalability
- Ensure designs align with accessibility standards and user-centered design principles
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate best practices into your work
- Proven experience in product or UX/UI design in complex or enterprise-level software, ideally with a portfolio showcasing your work
- Strong proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Sketch
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Experience in user research, prototyping, and usability testing
- Knowledge of design standards for web and mobile, including responsive design.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to balance user needs with business goals to deliver practical, innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience designing for enterprise or technical applications
- Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG)
- Improvement in user sentiment and satisfaction with the product, demonstrated via customer interviews and ongoing improvements to NPS scores
- Presenting at design industry events on changes and improvements executed within the design team
- Increase in adoption and engagement for newly releases or redesigned features
- Design changes, improvements and new features are resonating with users and solving their needs
- Design deliverables are completed on time, supporting sprint goals and timelines
- Key product workflows show measurable reduction in time and steps to complete tasks by users
- A decrease in support requests related to usability or user workflow intuitiveness
