As the General Manager of Business Development and Sales at GuardWare, you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building lasting relationships with clients and partners. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in business development and sales management, who can provide vision, direction, and effective execution to achieve ambitious business goals.This is a hands on role to establish a Sales and Marketing process and team, not for one who expects it all established.
This role is full time with workload and hours normally expected of a General Manager for which competitive salary and conditions apply. Duties include:- Develop and implement the sales and marketing strategy and plan
- Drive dIrect and channel sales with middle managers or coordinators
- Establish strategic channel partnerships
- Conduct thorough market analysis
- Coordinate customer relationship management
- Lead, inspire, and mentor the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, partnerships, and avenues for revenue generation.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing business development and sales team.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Develop and manage budgets for business development and sales activities.
- Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and make data-driven decisions to achieve revenue targets.
Salary includes base salary, superannuation, , bonus and share option incentive based on KPIs.
