As part of a close-knit finance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of financial operations. This is a hands-on role that will see you involved in everything from reconciliations and month-end reporting to assisting with compliance and financial analysis.

The Role

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for a broad range of accounting duties, including:

Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations
Accounts payable and receivable support
Bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
BAS preparation and assisting with compliance reporting
Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Prior experience in an Assistant Accountant role (mining or services industry experience advantageous)
Strong Excel skills
A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset
A proactive and team-oriented approach
Studying towards (or completed) CPA/CA is highly regarded
