Salary: $73,500 plus superannuation

• Undertake tasks in accordance with the Integrated Management System and established Limits of Authority
• Preparation of the Tender Go; No-Go form along with identifying contract particulars and assessment of the tender viability.
• Preparation of the commercial clarifications register based on post tender feedback from client on MCM listed contractual departures.
• Attend project control group meetings as required.
• File all project-related documentation appropriately, manage procurement and subcontractor documentation along with quote comparison.
• Issue trade tender packages, conduct evaluations, and negotiate subcontractor agreements while ensuring compliance with prequalification processes.
• Review of the final contract version against MCM’s tender offer and post tender commercial negotiations and agreement.
• Prepare procurement schedules in alignment with project timelines, identify suitable subcontractors, and ensure balance between cost, quality, and compliance.
• Consultation with subcontractors on MCM subcontract agreement and head contract requirements to ensure back to back conditions are achieved.
• Prepare subcontract agreements in line with MCM’s head contract conditions.
• Ensure tender submission requirements on pricing, HSEQ statistics, experience, capability and financial information are met or exceeded.
• Ensure cost control procedures are maintained, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare monthly cost reports for project reviews.
• Finalize accounts within a month of project completion, adhering to company policies.
• Maintain quality control registers and assist with the closeout of CAR’s and NCR’s.
• Promote positive stakeholder relationships by fostering mutual trust and maintaining regular communication, upholding the company’s values of professionalism and collaboration.
• Comply with all safety policies, environmental procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Actively participate in company initiatives, team-building activities, and programs aimed at driving change and improving the construction industry culture.

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering
• Experience with government procurement and prequalification guidelines
• Understanding of Australian Standard Contracts like AS4000, AS4902, etc
• Experience in the structural remediation industry particularly with a focus on repairs, strengthening, impressed current cathodic protection and electrochemical protection systems.
• Proficient in Pronamics Expert Estimation Software
• Minimum 1 year of experience within the remediation industry in Australia for scope of works as identified above
• Experience in use of Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project software.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• Construction Industry OH&S Induction Card
• High attention to detail
