Skyview Remedial & Construction are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join the dynamic team and oversee the strategic planning of maintenance activities. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring preventative maintenance programs to optimize equipment reliability, enhance efficiency, and support operational objectives.

The Maintenance Planner will work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and procurement teams to coordinate planned maintenance, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in maintenance scheduling within the construction or remedial industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules aligned with business objectives.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance activities to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Adjust schedules in response to emergency repairs and urgent maintenance needs.
  • Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of maintenance materials and spare parts.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and compliance checks.
  • Work closely with site teams to optimize resource allocation and streamline maintenance workflows.
  • Ensure all maintenance procedures align with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for maintenance projects.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies for potential maintenance challenges.
  • Support training initiatives to improve maintenance team competencies and adherence to best practices.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, improve scheduling efficiency, and reduce downtime.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree, or at least three years of relevant experience in maintenance planning, facility management, or a related field.
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience in a similar role within the construction, remedial, or building maintenance industry.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning principles, scheduling tools, and asset management strategies.
  • Experience with procurement and inventory management for maintenance materials.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety compliance requirements.
