Experienced Cooks & Chefs

The positions will be on a full-time basis with a salary ranging from 70-80K AUD per annum plus superannuation, negotiable for the right candidate.

• Regularly prepare, cook, and season various foods according to the menu.
• Portion and present food as required ensuring the set quality.
• Ensuring proper storage per controlled temperature guidelines.
• Estimate the quantities and costs of supplies needed, such as food and ingredients.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure they meet established standards.
• Support senior chefs in planning and developing recipes and menus by providing input and assistance, ensuring adaptability to changing internal and external factors
• Routine kitchen operations, including stock rotation, and necessary paperwork on a daily basis.
• Set up, clean, and organize workstations efficiently.
• Prepare ovens, utensils, and grills for shifts.
• Cook orders in compliance with food health and safety standards and dietary requirements.
• Maintain a strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (WHS) and HACCP protocols.

• Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities.
• Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts.
• Preferably have Certificates III & IV in Commercial Cookery
• Have at least 2 years of work experience as a Cook/Chef
• Ability to work in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Candidates must hold Australian or NZ Citizenship or the capacity to work in Australia permanently. A temporary visa holder may only be employed if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.
