We are seeking an Office Administrator to join us on a fixed-term contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role!
As an Office Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This diverse and dynamic role includes managing communications, schedules, and supplies while supporting our engineering team in delivering outstanding client service.If you excel in a fast-paced environment and enjoy taking ownership of varied responsibilities, this opportunity is for you!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance across office staff and departments while fostering a positive, collaborative company culture.
- Daily Office Operations: Oversee daily office activities, ensuring equipment and supplies are functional and well-maintained.
- Data Entry: Configure Manufacturing Data Reports (MDR), maintain spreadsheets for incoming leads, and manage outgoing quotations/revisions.
- Event Coordination: Arrange purchases for events and meetings as needed.
- Central Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling phone and email inquiries, and welcoming visitors.
- Employee Induction and Onboarding: Manage uniform ordering, and prepare and distribute new employee welcome packs.
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or in a relevant administrative role
- Team player with good intuition and a strong sense of urgency about solving problems and getting work completed.
- 2+ years administration experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work autonomously; and Initiative to be proactive in your role.
- A passion for creating positive stakeholder experiences and achieving outstanding results
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
