Location: Northern Goldfields OperationsRoster: 8 days on, 6 days off
What you can look forward to:
Deliver long term mine plans to optimise the life of asset and enable the business to meet its long and short term objectives in terms of safety, production and cost.Produce practical development and production designs on new and updated geological resource models for mine areas within the broader underground mining complex.
Logically sequence and schedule mine areas for enhancement of the overall mine production and economic profiles.
Produce functional infrastructure designs allowing for successful execution of mining activities and schedules.
Undertake financial evaluation throughout the design process to a standard adequate for the investment review process and reserve reporting.
Be a key contributor to the evolution of the site mining strategy with a focus on the annual budget and life of asset time spaces.
Assist and contribute in the unit cost review and estimation processes.
Assist with the compilation and ongoing review of mine design and planning guidelines.
To thrive in this role, you'll bring
Expertise and Accomplishments:
Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering.
First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency (desirable)
Underground production and planning experience in mechanised hard-rock underground mining, preferably with exposure to highly productive narrow vein mining.Proficient user of Deswik packages including CAD, SO, Scheduler & MDM.
Strong financial acumen.
