The Role and Responsibilities
Due to company growth, we currently have an opportunity for a Resource Planner to join our growing team based out Henderson, Western Australia. The role would pivotal to the business working with Project Managers, Mobilisation Coordinators, Operations Managers to plan, allocate and forecast according to project needs for personnel and equipment.
- Working directly with Project Managers and Project Engineers to develop Project facing schedules.
- Work with Operations Managers and Project Managers to identify and allocate personnel and equipment resources.
- Maintain and distribute reporting/dashboard for visibility to Operations and Pre-Contracts teams on resources forecast.
- Provide scheduling advice and support to enable Project Manager to meet project objectives
- Perform schedule related analysis and generate insights and recommendation to address risks and issues.
- Provide governance for project-related scheduling and resource decisions
- Work as a bridge between our pre-contracts and post-contracts delivery teams to identify potential and real resource shortfalls
Requirements
In order to be successful you will have reasonable scheduling experience either project based or a similar resource planning role. Your analytical skills, attention to detail/accuracy and problem-solving skills will ensure your success in this dynamic role.
- Experience in developing and maintaining complex project schedules
- Ideally experience using Power BI to create dashboards and reports
- Demonstrated experience in project controls performance reporting & scheduling
- Experience with Scheduling Software, preferably Primavera P6
- Strong data analysis skills
- Ability to understand complex contractual requirements.
- Strong communication skills; able to build good relationships and rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders
