About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our Rottnest Express team, based in Fremantle on a full-time basis and, on a 12 month maximum term contract.
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is to provide high quality support for the Sales and Marketing team for Rottnest Express and the wider Journey Beyond team, to assist the business with the development of revenue, market share, reputation, and profile.This includes developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns, tracking sales data, social media management, maintaining promotional materials and database management as well as support for a range of other initiatives.
Key requirements
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have previous experience with sales, marketing, sponsorship & event coordinating or;
- Hold a tertiary qualification in marketing, business, hospitality, or a related discipline
- Coordinate marketing and advertising initiatives in conjunction with Sales & Marketing Executive
- Provide support and assist Rottnest Express to grow revenue and market share across all sales channels including but not limited to direct sales, local agents, new business, and groups
- Be confident in creating and managing content plans for social media platforms and CRM.
- Produce quality and timeliness of sales & marketing activities and reports
- Provide support and grow stakeholder relationships
- Superior planning and organisational and prioritising skills with attention to detail
- Possess excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal)
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Have experience with CMS, CRM, social media, and content management platforms
- Be a creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Have the ability to work with others as part of a team and can-do attitude
