Principal Employee Relations Advisor
You will be instrumental in supporting the achievement of organisational culture and people experience outcomes, providing specialised advice and practical assistance to resolve complex employee relations issues.
What you'll do:
As a Principal Employee Relations Advisor, your role will be multifaceted. You will provide expert advice on public sector employment relations legislation, helping to shape our client's approach to industrial strategy. Your ability to develop strong relationships with external stakeholders will be crucial, as you'll work closely with unions to foster a collaborative approach to employee and industrial relations.You'll also play a key role in educating leaders within the organisation, building their skills, knowledge, and confidence in handling employee relations matters. Additionally, you'll prepare high-level discussion papers on complex employment relations issues, assisting in dispute resolution when necessary.
- Provide advice and practical support to internal customers including human resources teams, senior leaders, and managers.
- Act as a key advisor for public sector employment relations legislation.
- Assist in the development of an employee relations and industrial strategy.
- Develop and implement processes for a collaborative relationship with external stakeholders.
- Manage the interface with the union to facilitate a collaborative approach to employee and industrial relations.
- Educate and coach leaders in the organisation to build skill, knowledge, and capability in employee relations matters.
- Prepare high-level discussion papers and briefs on complex employment relations issues.
- Assist in the resolution of any industrial disputes.
