Your Role & Team

As a Key Account Manager your impact starts with managing a portfolio of clients, those of which exceed a turnover $250m per annum - think your ASX 200s.

In the role, you will you will also work with Key Account BDMs as a senior team member and assist with any queries as well as their development as a sales professional.

This role reports directly to the Head of Key Accounts and is a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions based out of our Sydney CBD office.

Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Manage Key Account clients (Clients with T/O above $250M pa) with a focus on customer support/ success and an eye to growth via cross/ upsell.
  • Engage with key contacts within a client’s company (eg: finance/ credit, marketing, digital, procurement and sales).
  • Manage and demonstrate a consistent sales pipeline across all sales cycle stages.
  • Work with the Key Account BDMs to manage client handovers at various stages of a client lifecycle.
  • Develop internal relationships and manage the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources including Development, Data and Analytics and Legal teams.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for the purpose of contract renewals and tenders.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges that defy easy solution.

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in the role, you’ll ideally have worked within in a quota-carrying AE role (preferably in SaaS) for at least 10 years years, managing complex sales cycles (3-6 months) within industries including and not limited to banking, telco, insurance, utilities, finance, construction, retail and transport.

You possess proven stakeholder management skills through your tenacious yet genuine approach and have an intuitive sense of necessary steps to close business and gain customer validation.

Lastly, it will be a major bonus if you have experience in following the Miller Heiman process.
