Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Manage payroll and ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making
- Lease accounting, BAS, Balance sheet recs, including GST reconciliations
- Lead and mentor the finance team
- Maintain financial systems, including ERP software
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations
- Support audits, financial planning, and risk management
The Successful Applicant
About you:
- Ability to undertake complex reconciliations - strong problem solving skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in not-for-profit, aged care, or health sectors
- CPA/CA Qualified
- Proficiency in XERO and advanced Excel skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills
- Experience with Calxa software & Govt funding Acquittals, ACNC Annual reporting
- Ability to work autonomously
