About the Role

As a Marketing & Events Coordinator, you will spearhead marketing campaigns and manage the logistics of professional business events for a leading financial services firm. You'll handle everything from securing venues to crafting engaging content for promotional materials.

Duties

Within this role you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and managing professional business events.
  • Arranging local events including corporate gatherings and networking activities.
  • Overseeing logistics such as venue bookings and layouts.
  • Developing Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) campaigns for these events.
  • Managing RSVPs, follow-ups and attendee needs, such as dietary requirements.
  • Formulating communication plans and content for event promotion.
  • Creating and managing social media posts related to events.
  • Overseeing the overall marketing campaigns for these events.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a financial or professional services environment.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Canva for creating engaging content.
  • Experience with email marketing tools like Mailchimp, Hubspot, or Dot Digital
  • Exceptional presentation skills with a polished demeanour
  • Affable personality able to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Highly developed communication skills, able to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into easily understandable content.
  • This role combines aspects of Marketing and Events Coordination. Candidates with experience in both areas are encouraged to apply.
