The Role and Responsibilities

EnerMech is currently seeking to engage a Quality Manager for our Operations in Australia, reporting to the Regional QHSE Manager.

The primary purpose of this position is to work within the Regional QHSE team, responsible for the establishment and delivery of a Quality Management System aligned with relevant Management System Standards and Stakeholder requirements. This will include the implementation of effective company systems, procedures and processes for quality control and assurance and ongoing monitoring to ensure specific quality objectives and targets are achieved.

This includes but is not limited to planning, development and implementation of quality system processes, improvement initiatives and management of the day-to-day quality performance. Primary duties will include:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Management processes and responsibility for implementing and updating, as and when required.
  • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the Australian operations.
  • Monitor and report on quality system metrics
  • Develop and monitor completion of an effective audit schedule
  • Interface with regional offices, business areas and business support
  • Provide direction/advice to Business Line and functional support areas in relation to certification and accreditation requirements
  • Liaise with 3rd party quality inspectors, auditors, clients and personnel as necessary

Requirements

The Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Quality Assurance Management, preferably in an organisation-wide capacity.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification
  • Advanced people and team leadership skills, demonstrated experience influencing peers and driving engagement and performance in own team
  • Expertise in setting technical direction and implementing QA standards and processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively promote ideas and drive change
  • Degree or diploma in Quality Assurance/Management is desirable.
  • Understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020 quality systems and requirements is highly desirable.
