Requirements
The Role and Responsibilities
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Contract Specialist to join a rapidly expanding organization who are currently engaged on several of Australia’s most prestigious and iconic projects across the infrastructure, mining, oil and gas and new energy sectors.
This is a full time role based in our Henderson office. Free onsite parking with monthly safety awards with catered lunch.- Execution of head contract and subcontract requirements.
- Contract interpretation and drafting of correspondence.
- Preparation and finalization of subcontract packages.
- Preparation of monthly progress claims.
- Identification, pricing, submission, and agreement of variations.
- Pricing, submission and agreement of extension of time claims.
- Collating information for the preparation of weekly and monthly reports for the projects.
- Manage project accounts and assist Project Manager with accurate financial tracking/forecasting on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate and manage project and site documentation.
- Attend meetings with head contractors and subcontractors as required.
- Assist in managing compliance with safety, quality, cost, and program.
The Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Construction Economics (Quantity Surveying) or related degree with the equivalent knowledge and skills. You will have the ability to assume responsibility for a portfolio of projects across a number of states and is someone who is comfortable interfacing and liaising with State Managers, Project Managers, Finance and Project Controls Teams and the wider EnerMech organization.You will have a demonstrated ability to work independently and be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Previous InEight experience will be highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with relevant Security of Payment legislation.
- Major project experience.
